Brighton Cohousing is an emerging group of people interested in the idea of cohousing. We have been meeting since September 2006. The aims of the existing group are broadly:

• Networking: Meeting people with a similar interest and looking for people to build a project with.
• Researching: Finding out what's going on and sharing knowledge.
• Project development: Hopefully one or more groups of people who want to build a project together will develop out of this.

There are a variety of visions within the group as it stands - for example, some wanting to live in Brighton, some wanting to live in the country - but quite a few are looking towards growing old in a more positive and congenial spirit. The group is small as yet, and as it grows other directions may emerge. It is fairly open at present.
